Job Description

The role of a bus driver includes various tasks and responsibilities related to passenger transport. Main duties include:

  • Driving the bus: Safe and smooth driving on designated routes and schedules, following traffic rules, speed limits, and signals.
  • Passenger transport: Ensuring safe and comfortable travel for passengers to stops or final destinations, assisting with boarding and disembarking, and answering questions.
  • Ticket control: In some cases, checking tickets or passes to ensure all passengers have valid travel documents.
  • Vehicle maintenance: Performing basic technical checks before each shift (brakes, lights, tires, etc.) and monitoring safety conditions during operation.
  • Compliance with safety regulations: Following all safety rules, especially for transporting children, elderly people, or passengers with disabilities.
  • Adhering to schedule: Maintaining set timetables, including departure and arrival times.

Requirements

  • German language – minimum level A2
  • Valid driver’s license (mandatory)
  • Previous bus driving experience
  • Car required

Location

  • Germany

Accommodation

  • Single or shared room (2 people per room)
  • €20–€30 per day

Transportation to Work

  • Accommodation located 10–20 minutes from workplace
  • Prefers candidates with their own car
