Warehouse Operative – Netherlands

Americold is a global leader in providing temperature-controlled infrastructure. The company collaborates with farmers and food producers to ensure that perishable and frozen products reach food suppliers, restaurants, and grocery stores without spoiling.

Salary

  • Starting wage: From €14.71 gross per hour
  • With 8.33% holiday allowance, the starting wage is €15.94 gross per hour
  • Overtime: +30% after 40 hours
  • Weekly salary payments

Surcharges

  • €0.21 per km for employees who have their own transport, if they travel more than 10 kilometers to work or provide transport for others.
  • 125% surcharge for the night shift (after 00:00).

Payment

  • Weekly payments to the Slovakian/Czech bank accounts.
  • Tax and allowances are handled by the employer according to applicable legislation.

Work Shifts

  • Morning shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Afternoon shift: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM
  • Overnight: After 00:00, 125% surcharge on the regular wage.

Job Description

  • Work in the logistics warehouse as per department assignments.
  • Collecting orders.
  • Loading and unloading trucks either manually or using an EPT.
  • Stock temperatures range from 1°C to 5°C.

Requirements

  • English: Minimum A2-B1 level
  • Driver’s License: Preferred but not mandatory.

Location

  • Netherlands, Barneveld.

Accommodation

  • Shared rooms at a price of €135 per week, including all utilities (depending on availability).
  • Living arrangements: The house has shared living rooms, kitchen, and bathroom, with four-bedroom apartments on average.
  • There is also a possibility of a separate room (subject to availability).
  • The house is fully equipped for living.

  • The distance from the workplace depends on available accommodation.
  • Employer provides transportation options to work.
